Philly Pride March — Sunday, June 1

10 AM Arrival • 10:30 AM Land Blessing • 11 AM Step-Off

Join us for a people-powered March—not a parade—where everyone moves together through the heart of Philly.

Arrival & Flags
• 10 AM: Volunteers will hand out free mini-flags on the south side of 6th & Walnut. Grab yours and find your spot behind the 600-foot Pride flag

Land Blessing & Remarks
• 10:30 AM: Representatives of the Lenape Tribe will lead the Land Blessing at Washington Square Park (south side of 6th & Walnut).
• Immediately following, brief civic reflections by City Councilmembers Rue Landau, Kendra Brooks, Jaime Gauthier, plus José DiMarco, Reverend Jordan, and Reverend Andrea Harrington of Whosoever Metropolitan Community Church.

Step-Off & Route
• 11 AM: We step off from 6th & Walnut, carrying a 600-foot Pride flag and following our sound truck west along Walnut Street.
• After a half-mile journey, the March disperses into the Festival at 11th & Walnut—just follow the crowd!

Tips for Marchers

  • Wear comfy shoes—this route is wheelchair- and stroller-friendly.

  • Bring water.

  • Wave your flag high and connect with fellow participants—this is your moment to be seen and heard!

See you in the street! 🌈
